Band History |
| |
Spiv played in Simple Simon, Blackmaker, and most recently Javelinas. Always a fast-paced music/song writer, his mark can be heard in all of the above listed bands.
Lots of music that has been catalogued in his personal archives was never brought to the table of the above listed bands, or simply wasn't appropriate for the styles of those bands.
The Frosting collaborative was just a name he had thrown around, and eventually used it as his personal music moniker. Well into a couple of records of material are in the banks, and it's just a matter of time until an actual pressing goes underway.
The songwriting will continue nevertheless, and the fire is continually burning!
Tour plans? Gig plans? ANY plans?? "Well, it's a one man band for now. Over the past year, conversations with former bandmates and rock and roll friends have sparked some interest in actually putting together a project... We shall see... TFC is currently just releasing music for public consumption & enjoyment via Kentland Records.
TFC's first release is under constant scrutiny. Look for a limited pressing of the demos by late 2007.
