Ghs Strings, Budweiser had a campaign in the late 90's to get on the bandwagon of "finding" new independent music. The Indie boom was in full force, and they hunted the continent for new bands to push with tons of free samplers. Why they chose Simple Simon's Father Figure is unknown, It wasn't one of the singles from Bitter taste of Americana... but I guess they just needed some ROCK. Regardless, it put the name out there nationally and generated sales and interest... Released in 1996
