News: rock and roll season is coming upon us check the calendar frequently, I'll do my best to update with more precise times and locations. A couple of notes of interest: At the what's blooming on Harrison Festival in Oak Park, Red Pop Fury is playing on Saturday may 18th. You may Want to come earlier in the day to see Spiv's son, Kelvin, and his drummerless band of doods, MEDINE. They open the show 3:30pm!
In other news, Spiv's New project, DECIBELLA, is getting the wheels in motion for the debut release “And so wee begin…” Artwork is in the makings by our good friend, John Postlewait. The Photo session is complete, amazing photos by our good friend and rock and roll comrade, Ed Lines Photography. The album is now mastered for many formats via Mystery Room Mastering in Madison WI and our good friend Justin Perkins (he recorded JAVELINAS, Seven Sisters) Plans are to have Vinyl and CD copies pressed as well as streaming etc. Details to follow. Let us not forget the great mixing of Mike Zirkel!
